i'm terrible at these! i'm a gay-married wife and cat mom. by day i work as a legal executive assistant at a major law firm, and by night i am a perfumer/small business owner. i'm a big reader and for the past 4 or so years i've only read books by and about women. i like thoughtful discussions just as much as excited flailing. all my personality types are cusps: virgo/libra, enfj/entp, and slytherclaw.  um, feel free to ask anything else you're curious about!

Top 5 Fandoms:
AGH okay, currently? in no specific order: harry potter, criminal minds, leverage, merlin, jane the virgin (i just started marathoning this last weekend and i'm HOOKED). BUT I ALSO LOVE: miss fisher's murder mysteries, gone girl, sailor moon, legend of the seeker, psych, life is strange (bae > bay), salem, and some others! more generally, i'm a fan of female-centric horror and thrillers and ya fiction.

I mostly post about:
work, social life (i run a lesbian-only meetup group which is fun), stories about our cat children, what i'm currently reading (articles and books), and some politics/feminism. i used to be hugely into u.s. politics but now that's a disaster i don't want to think about, so mostly anything related to that is about more interpersonal or community stuff rather than elections, etc.

My last three posts were about: excluding one that promo'd this community: 1) a major wholesale order i received + some book recs + snippet about worldbuilding of a novel i'm working on; 2) fandom woes + work being slow; 3) a brief but riveting update on some personal drama (in which i was totally in the right)

How often do you post? How about commenting?
on average, about once a week, occasionally more often. but i check my friends lists daily, and try to comment on like 90% of posts.

Fellow reader who digs the female authors and books about women - always searching for the next one to read! Also lesbian, married - we have twin boys but before they were born, also cat rescuers/foster parents. We only have 8 right now... I'm saying that's down in numbers and therefore a win for us at the moment! :) I'd love to read along with your life!
