Age: 42. (I'm the answer to life, the universe, and everything.)
Location: The NYC exurbs
Describe yourself in five sentences or less:
Straight cis polyamorous man living in a created family in the 'zurbs of NYC. (There are about a dozen of us, adults and kids.) By day I make my living as ... well, nothing, at the moment, but I hope to be back to being a Media Professional of some sort soon. By night I'm a musician, writer, SCAdian, lover of good scotch, and I'm also trying to get healthy.
Top 5 fandoms:
Not sure "fandoms" applies to me. I like stuff. I like the Beatles, Monty Python, sci-fi, Broadway musicals, and quoting obscure bits of standup comedy which no one else gets but me. I'm also a shameless movie buff. I read the credits.
I mostly post about...
These days? The job search, which I think of as Navigation. (Compasses and maritime metaphors figure heavily in my worldview.) I also post about my family, and my four romantic partners, and whatever random shit strikes my fancy.
I rarely post about...
I try very very very hard not to post about the news or politics here -- mostly because that was the career I've just been fired from, and I hope to put it behind me.
My last three posts were about...
The job search, and finally moving here from LJ after a few years straddling the two sites.
How often do you post?
More often than I used to! One of the great things about being unemployed? I have time to write, think, and journal -- and that's been a nice lifeline during a stressful time. (Another great thing about unemployment is, you can just decide, in the course of any given day, that you're done wearing pants.)
How about commenting?
I lurk a lot, but I comment when I feel I have something to say.
