It's been over a year since I last did one of these, so....

Location: still stuck in the South (S.Carolina, Clemson country)
Describe yourself in five sentences or less: Queer Chicana author of largely queer supernatural fluff, with random forays into science fiction and romance. I crochet, I write, I yell (lovingly. ish.) at my cats, and I go crazy if I can't have my music for too long. Crazier. Invisibly disabled and carrying more anxiety than a strung-out Chihuahua in a room full of bobcats.

Top 5 fandoms: Visual kei, Heroes of the Storm/Blizzard games, NCIS, Stargate (SG-1&Atlantis), and a three-way tie between Star Trek (TOS thru VOY), Doctor Who, and yarn. Because yarn is totally a fandom.

I mostly post about: My writing, lately. I mean, I write a lot, because it's the only thing I can do to keep myself somewhat sane and vaguely grounded. Also post a lot about my cats (4 inside cats, 4-8? yard cats), my yarn projects, and my "wife" (we're not technically married, but shh).

I rarely post about: Sports (my only "regular" sport is American Football and we're off-season now, so), politics (for reasons of sanity, though I'm a screaming liberal-progressive), American pop culture in general.

My last three posts were about: Writing progress for Monday, weekly music post, Sunday writing progress with Patreon link and shuffling of the cats.

How often do you post? At least once a day, twice on Mondays. It's an accountability trick, keeps me honest with my writing habit. ;)

How about commenting? I can be pretty spotty about actually commenting on stuff - I try to comment when I have something to say, but I'm also quite the introvert, so...

Subscription/access policy: My entries are default locked as a general privacy policy, but gaining access is as simple as asking these days.

I'm especially keen to find more visual kei fans, if you're out there. Or anyone interested in becoming a VK fan. We have cookies!

Hi there! I just added you to my list. I'm not a VK fan, but I'm a K-pop fan, so there are similarities, I think (bands that will never, ever come to your town, singing in a foreign language, to the bemusement of your SO). Nice to meet you!

There are, and crossover moments, too. I've retreated to the outskirts of Kpop fandom after a couple groups' stans kiiiinda scared me off wanting to have much of anything to do with things. Which is a shame, cuz I often like the music I do hear, I just don't keep up to know what's new.

Yeah, K-pop fandoms can get a little... intense (to put it kindly). ;) I try to avoid the drama, but I still stumble onto some of it.

ETA: I think the most intense fights happen when the Korean and international fans of a group get into it.

Oh lort... I haven't been able to really play since midway through Pandaria and I never did get to the endgame content even back then and my lore knowledge was a bit sketchy even then (I was so good on the lore up to Cata and them BOOM and nope, soooo behind).... I miss the game something fierce, but I've gotten to where now I'm worried that by the time I AM able to afford a sub again, I'll be utterly and irretrievably lost as they proceed to CHANGE ALL THE THINGS.

Honestly, I think they're wrapping up the story- as strange as that may sound. But the game is *very* different now... But they did a lot of work on early game, actually, so it might not be so bad.

Story-wise the really Big Things that happened since Pandaria, really, is that the Burning Legion has been defeated. Varian and Vol'jin are dead. Sylvanas is Warchief, Anduin is High King. Alleria and Turalyon are back. Sargeras is now imprisoned with Illidan just ಠ_ಠ ing at him for the foreseeable future. But before he went, Sargeras *stabbed Azeroth with a literal sword*. ...Yes. And, basically the Horde discovered Azeroth's scabs are super powerful and are mining it up atm. At Blizzcon they revealed the Horde will destroy Teldrassil, and the Alliance will retaliate by invading Lordaeron. So there's going to be one, final "let's settle the faction war once and for all" rumble starting in August.

... of course that just makes me miss Wrath that much more. Ah nostalgia! XD Since I'm sure I was hating the grinds back at the time something fierce....

Hi! I love reading about other people's writing - I'm also a lesbian and into supporting lgbt/queer authors - and, while not a fan of visual kei, I AM a fan of 90's (& contemporary!) joshi wrestling which seems to have at least some aesthetic overlap! I mostly post diary entries or sometimes longer thoughts about movies/books/the news. I also love music & have pretty broad tastes, so I might steal your idea of doing a weekly music post. ;)

So, we don't necessarily have the most in common, but let me know if it's okay to add!
