Describe yourself in five sentences or less: Okay. Canadian female, born and bred here, twice divorced, not in a relationship, have three grown children, none of whom live with me. I live with two cats and a roommate, at the moment I'm not working and instead am collecting disability benefits due to a winter plagued with the worst depression I've ever had; it was paralysing. I love books, cats, knitting, photography, spring, the ocean, travelling, and learning new things. I'm bisexual, I'm a faithful Christian but not intrusive about it, I watch Netflix far too much, and am terminally lazy about housework.

Top five fandoms: I'm not all that fangirly; never have been. I really love Doctor Who, Firefly, The Mentalist, Castle, Star Trek (OS, TNG, and the movies) and my crushes (if I can use that term at my age) are on Bill Nighy, David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Neil Patrick Harris.

My last three posts were about: Just boring updates about my rather boring life!

How often do you post? At the moment at least daily, that may change as the novelty of this site wears off!

How about commenting? I try to keep up at comment on everyone's posts. Sometimes I'm a few days late in doing so.

I mostly post about: Life stuff. My kids. My cats. Books. There will be book reviews.

I rarely post about: sports, fandoms, brussels sprouts.

Note: I'm not a Doctor Who fan of long standing. When Netflix started showing it a year or so ago, I began to watch, having heard so much about it. I got through Ecclestone, Tennant, and half way through Matt Smith, and then boom, Netflix pulled it. I've never seen the current doctor.

I don't know how mature I am either, I seem to regress frequently! I sleep with teddy bears and put on rubber boots to jump in puddles after rainstorms! Embracing my inner child is important to me!
