Name: Zimena should be enough. Not my real name, but one I've been using online for so long that I would probably answer to it in the physical world as well.
Age: 38, for four more days.
Location: Norway.
Other Sites I'm On: Moved from LJ at the beginning of the year, after being there since 2006. Might still comment over there, but I don't post much there anymore.
Describe yourself in five sentences or less:
Quiet, thoughtful and introverted as a person, but can be very talkative if we connect and have something in common.
Watches an obscene amount of sports. Especially in the winter, so I die a little inside when the winter sports season is over... but I still watch a lot of sports in the summer as well.
If I'm very into something, I will talk about it at great length and I may fangirl madly. I'm not necessarily looking for others to agree with me, just to understand my passion. Yes, there IS a current fangirl target, and you will hear about him a lot on my journal. (I'm deliberately not saying who it is, because I'm trying to make you curious so that you will come by my journal and say hi. You figured out as much, right?)
I like to read/write (slash) fanfiction - almost always angsty, sometimes violent and/or unpleasant, but usually less graphic than the scenes are in my mind. I may also talk quite a bit about writing, because it's a slow process for me.
Also loves languages (Czech and Spanish being the most important ones), music (mostly things that either ARE 20-30 years old, or have been around for that amount of time), gaming (Zelda series), and randomly browsing around the Internet.
Top 5 fandoms:
Cross-country skiing. Current main inspiration for any and all fanstuff I think of and make.
Legend of Zelda.
Still trying to finish the last few episodes of Yuri on Ice!!!
Used to be into the fandom side of football as well. Not so much anymore.
Likes Harry Potter books. Haven't seen all movies, though. A (proud!) Hufflepuff in most of the "good" sorting quizzes, including the one from Pottermore.
I mostly post about: My daily life, and random thoughts and emotions related to that. Also, there's currently a lot of fangirling related to cross-country skiing. Oh, and sometimes I post about fanfic writing instead of.... you know... actually working on said fic writing. I might also sometimes post about various forms of entertainment if I have something to say about them - music, books, games... and sports, yes.
My last three posts were about: One personal update with various notes from the day yesterday, one blatant fangirl post and one post that's partly a mini personal update and mostly about wanting to start writing a new fic.
How about commenting?: I practically live on DW, and check my reading page several times daily. Even if I might not always know how to respond immediately, I try to comment if I feel like I have something to add. I also care about my friends here, and I think journals are a great way to get to know someone and make friends. Making friends is the main reason I'm here - I don't want to have just a reading list, but friends that I care about and relate to and might think of randomly because something reminds me of you.
