Describe yourself in five sentences or less: i was born a very short lesbian in the deep south and then i married a very tall canadian woman and ran away to PEI. i live with my wife and my rotund demoncat (Thanatos, or as we call him, Fattatouille), and a headful of stories, mostly of the horror variety. i write the way probably most people breathe; i also bind books, make jewelry, paint, sing, hoard languages, garden, bake, and care for infants and small children. i like being in the sky and being in the sea. i don't like winter.
Top 5 Fandoms:
--gaming (currently playing: xenoblade chronicles AGAIN, adventure bar story, and a whole lot of zx spectrum games.)
--yuri! on ice
--doctor who (i'm a diehard eleven fan)
--i'm catching up on call the midwife now so i mean, we can talk about that!
--if you want to talk to me about jrock, we can be bffs on that alone. i have more or less properly been in that fandom since 2003 and i will never stop EVEN AS IT AND THE REMAINING X JAPAN MEMBERS DIE OUT AROUND ME. (too soon?)
I mostly post about: writing, stuff i'm making, my dumb cat, how immigration is hard, weird conversations i have, and, uh, sometimes i froth about how my mind and my body conspire to kill me, because they do, and that takes up a lot of headspace.
I try not to post about: the situation in my home country. i try not to read about it either.
My last three posts were about: all PSAs about lj's russiapocalypse aside: putting my cat on antidepressants, the launch of my patreon, and a lengthy-but-ugly post on what it means to grow up female in a bad neighborhood in georgia.
How often do you post? How about commenting?
sometimes i post daily, sometimes weekly. i tryyyy to comment on at least all personal posts.
