Describe yourself in five sentences or less:
SF/F fan since I was a tiny, and now I live on books, fic and restricted bandwidth. Lesbian married to a lovely bi lady, have many crushes on fictional characters. Sometimes I write fic. My sentences are often far too long, for which I blame Le Guin, but that's probably pretentious and really it's mostly my terrible grammar.

Top 5 fandoms:
Changes frequently, currently older Marvel Comics of the Avengers set, DCTV, classic Hollywood, a bit of MCU stuff, and the usual old Age of Sail and Lord of the Rings standbys.

I mostly post about...
Unlocked: Book/movie/tv reviews, metafandom stuff, links to cool things, links to my fic (when I write it). Locked: some RL stuff and pictures of birds and stuff.

I rarely post about...
My personal life, even locked, politics.

My last three posts were about...
Moving to DW, Gregory Peck movies, Book Reviews

How often do you post?
Every few days, sometimes every day, depending on my mood.

How about commenting? I definitely comment every day.

A GIF to describe how your day has been so far:

Oh my god, Le Guin is such a lifechanger. I can map how my perceptions on what is possible in storytelling across my life by what Le Guin book I had read at each point. Woman is amazing.

Looks like we should get along, hah! Adding you :D

Thank you! It's not exactly the same as my old LJ layout, but I spent two hours making sure it was close enough, because heaven forbid I go without by rotating banner xD

I feel the same way with Terry Pratchett's stuff. There are still three of his books I haven't read, but I will probably never get around to them because I know there won't be any more after ):

Hi there, love your fic! *g*
I was just listening to the podfic of "A Voice for America" a few days ago, so lovely! ;)

And LOL I think the same of my stile and Marion Zimmer Bradley's. Which is very pretentious as well and also kind of troubling in light of the posthumous revelation about her personal life... *shakes head*

Yep, it's part of the last Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology, strange you weren't notified, maybe it slipped the podficcer's mind? A shame though, I know I always bounce with glee whenever someone links me to a podfic of a work of mine. *_*

And, yes, I inhaled MZB's works at a very impressionable age too LOL

Anyway, mind if I add you? - My intro post is here if you're curious... ;)

Sci fi for life. Yes. I think I recognize you from a mutual friend's LJ back in the day. Linaelyn? If not, still adding. ;-)
